Since its opening in 2017, Terry’s kitchen has been the center of the Asian immigrant and its descendants community not only of the city of Bellevue but also of its surrounding cities such as Seattle and Renton. For example during the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant faced a financial challenge, yet with the support of the community through gofundme campaign it survived.
